Advice Pathway

Advice Pathway is a new one year partnership pilot project to enable Mental Health Service Users easy access to advice from within their mental health services.

Our partners are: Somerset Partnership Trust at Summerlands Hospital site, Ryalls Park Medical Centre and South Somerset Mind.

The project will be predominantly focused on ‘testing and learning’ throughout the one-year term, and the crucial objective is to ensure the project becomes a permanent service for our joint clients benefit into the future.

Whats on offer

We have connected with health workers at South Somerset Mind, Somerset Partnership Trust and Ryalls Park Medical Centre to deliver advice to clients who struggle to access the Citizens Advice service due to mental health.

Mental Health Servce Users will have access to a variety of communication methods to receive advice from a member of the Advice Pathway team. These include Skype, Phone or Face to face.

Refer a client

Please be aware that the appointment booking system is to be used by the partner organisations of Advice Pathway only. Any unauthorised bookings will be deleted.

A Citizens Advice adviser will be available to receive referrals via the Timely appointment booking system. The adviser will respond to confirm the details of the booking where necessary. The initial appointment will take place in the booked time slot, by the preferred method. A support worker may facilitate the session, if required.

When a service user has agreed to an appointment and it is booked on their behalf, they are giving consent for Citizens Advice South Somerset to contact them about their enquiry, and have personal details stored on the appointment system. This information is only accessible by Citizens Advice South Somerset and will not be shared without consent of the client.
